On December 19, the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, visited the site where the construction of the new buildings of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Motor Sports Center is planned. Here, Hero-Arkadag reviewed the projects of the facilities, which play an important role in the development of motor sports in our country.
On a clear winter morning, the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, arrived at the site of the new buildings of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Motor Sports Center.
Here, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan, M. Khydyrov, reported on the prepared projects for the buildings of the Motor Sports Center.
After hearing the report, Hero-Arkadag first inspected the unique nature of this area and its plant life. It was noted that during the construction of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Motor Sports Center, attention should be paid to the unique natural features of this corner. Hero-Arkadag emphasized that the unique desert environment should be considered when constructing new facilities.
Then, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty reviewed the presented projects.
As is known, in August of this year, Hero-Arkadag, visiting the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Motor Sports Center, noted that facilities of the appropriate direction had been built here, including several buildings belonging to the Road Supervision Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan, nearby residential buildings for military personnel and law enforcement officers, and a center for mass events. All this is a clear confirmation of the scale of urban development work. Hero-Arkadag emphasized the need to address issues related to relocating the Motor Sports Center complex and thoroughly studying possible sites for its construction.
At that time, Hero-Arkadag proposed relocating the Center, considering that the construction of sports facilities and production complexes near residential buildings is not advisable, so that the peace of citizens is not disturbed by the loud sounds of high-speed cars, as well as the growing number of young people interested in sports. This initiative, demonstrating that caring for people is a priority of state policy in our country, received great support.
In this regard, at a recent meeting of the State Security Council, the Minister of Internal Affairs requested the President of the country to relocate the Motor Sports Center. The head of state instructed to responsibly approach the implementation of the relevant work at the proper level.
Based on this, Hero-Arkadag said that he had come to familiarize himself with the implementation of these instructions, the features of the Center's location, and to give valuable advice on this matter.
Here, drawings of the buildings and projects related to their equipment and finishing were presented.
The total area of the Center, located 40 kilometers north of the capital, is 71 hectares. As Hero-Arkadag noted, this place is suitable in all respects for the construction of the Motor Sports Center, and he gave a number of recommendations on the presented projects.
Three projects were proposed, based on the architectural features of the new complex's buildings. Hero-Arkadag reviewed the features of the buildings presented in the project developments approved by the President of Turkmenistan.
According to these projects, the Center consists of two parts, where all possibilities for the training process, preparation of sports cars for competitions, and organization of international level tournaments are taken into account. The emblem of one of the buildings was chosen to be the image of an Akhal-Teke horse, and the other - an Alabai.
In our country, great importance is attached to the development of motor sports, noted Hero-Arkadag, continuing that issues related to the constant strengthening of its material and technical base, improving the qualifications of specialized athletes, and participating in international competitions are at the center of the state's attention.
In this regard, Turkmen athletes have great opportunities to enter the world stage and achieve high results.
Further, the National Leader of the Turkmen People noted that our athletes, participating in the International Silk Way Rally 2024, won silver and bronze medals.
Emphasizing that the new complex of buildings of the Center should fully comply with high international standards, Hero-Arkadag focused on the need to provide the necessary conditions for holding world-class competitions, various types of auto and motor sports, and small sports cars. In this regard, the important task is to consider the possibilities of building ring tracks, obstacle courses, and long-distance tracks with difficult conditions.
Then, the National Leader of the Turkmen People was shown a sports car that had just arrived at the disposal of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Motor Sports Center.
The Minister of Internal Affairs, M. Khydyrov, asked Hero-Arkadag, who has experience in testing sports cars and evaluating their technical capabilities, to test the new car.
As Hero-Arkadag noted, before starting to drive a car, it is necessary to thoroughly prepare: inquire about the condition of the roads and the climatic features of the area, and the level of technical maintenance of the car. All this is among the main requirements for athletes engaged in motor sports.
Arkadag got into the car and tested its technical capabilities. The sports car, driven by Hero-Arkadag, overcame a difficult route on sandy roads.
These days, the special beauty of the Karakum Desert, covering the vast expanses of Turkmen land, is felt. The combination of clean sands, desert flora, and cool winter weather ensures a high level of ecology in these places. This speaks of the generosity of all corners of Turkmen land, including the desert with its wonderful expanses.
In recent years, large-scale activities aimed at developing motor sports have been focused on ensuring that the population, especially the younger generation, has strong health and a vigorous spirit. Hero-Arkadag constantly emphasizes the importance of sports in fostering qualities such as determination, courage, and energy in young people.
Currently, as a result of the initiatives put forward by the President of Turkmenistan, joint projects are being implemented at the international level to improve the ecological state of the Aral Sea region. The nationwide planting of trees for this purpose in all corners of our country, in the Aral Sea region, and the work carried out for this purpose should be effective.
Thanks to the initiative of the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and the constant support of Arkadagly Hero Serdar, the country's specialized sports school has received a new impetus for development. The range of sports cars is constantly being replenished with new cars from leading manufacturers.
Hero-Arkadag tested the unique capabilities of the new sports car and its technical characteristics.
It should be noted that in September 2018, at the initiative of Hero-Arkadag, the International Amul-Hazar 2018 Rally was successfully held in the country, in which Arkadag participated and demonstrated driving skills and high results in completing the distance.
The bright victories repeatedly won by the National Leader of the Turkmen People in this sport are inscribed in golden pages in the history of its development.
Then, the National Leader of the Turkmen People emphasized the importance of making the necessary efforts to properly complete all planned work, implementing construction at a high-quality level, and actively using modern advanced experience in this regard.
As Hero-Arkadag noted, it would be advisable to use the clean sand removed from the construction site of the Center for the needs of kindergartens and playgrounds under construction in various parts of the country, as it fully meets high environmental standards.
Along with the training of specialized athletes at the Center, it is necessary to increase their vigilance when driving cars, develop the ability to ensure traffic coordination on the roads, and strictly observe established traffic rules, noted the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, giving a number of instructions.
Hero-Arkadag also emphasized the importance of developing various types of auto and motor sports in the country, holding relevant events for organizing international rallies in the future, giving recommendations based on his rich experience in this field.
Considering the growing interest in golf among young people in recent years, Hero-Arkadag gave valuable advice regarding both the functioning golf course in the capital and the construction of its counterpart in the National Tourist Zone "Avaza." This is important for strengthening the principles of a healthy lifestyle in our society and maintaining the motto "A healthy mind in a healthy body!"
As Hero-Arkadag notes, among the main requirements is also taking into account the natural features of the area. In this regard, it is planned to plant 8 million 320 thousand seedlings of saxaul and other plants in the Karakum Desert. Speaking about the ecological state of the Karakum Desert, the National Leader of the Turkmen People noted that the flora of this area should be constantly enriched, with mass planting of desert plant seedlings, and, wishing everyone further success, departed from the site.
