The Islamic Republic of Iran occupies an important place in Turkmenistan's foreign trade turnover. This is clearly evidenced by the steady growth and increase in the range of export and import goods between our countries.
Effective cooperation is developing in sectors such as the fuel and energy complex, transport and communications, industry, and agriculture. The regular holding of specialized exhibitions and business meetings, which has become a tradition, is of great importance for expanding bilateral cooperation, promoting new projects of interaction between public and private enterprises, and increasing trade turnover.
At the 16th Specialized Exhibition "Iran Agrofood" of the Islamic Republic of Iran, modern technologies for packaging, storage, and transportation of agricultural and food products, innovative achievements of companies engaged in export and import are presented.
