Winners of the Turkmenistan Rally Raid Championship Honoring Neutrality Day Announced

Representatives from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan, the "Turkmenavtoulaglary" agency, and the Turkmenistan Motor Sports Federation competed for the title of the best over two days during the country’s rally raid championship. The event, organized by the Motor Sports Federation and the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of Turkmenistan, was dedicated to International Neutrality Day, celebrated worldwide on December 12.

The 161-kilometer course was laid through the Karakum Desert, spanning the Ahal and Balkan provinces. Participants completed 138 kilometers on the first day and 23 kilometers on the second.

Winners were determined in the T2 class (SUVs) and the open class.

In the SUV class, Merdan Toylyyev from the "Turkmenavtoulaglary" agency claimed victory driving a Nissan Patrol. Maksatmurat Danatarov and Meylis Avdyllayev, athletes from the Turkmenistan Motor Sports Federation, took second and third places, respectively.

In the open class, Charyyar Charyyev secured first place in a Toyota Hilux. Serdar Kulalyev and Yolaman Abayev, both representing the Turkmenistan Motor Sports Federation, finished in second and third places.
