National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with the Crown Prince, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud during his working visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, TDH reports.
During the meeting, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, expressing gratitude to the Crown Prince, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the invitation to participate in the One Water summit, congratulated on the successful holding of this event, and also conveyed cordial greetings from President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
According to the agency, Turkmenistan and Saudi Arabia are united by close or similar approaches to important issues on the international agenda, which serves as a reliable basis for coordinating mutual efforts in the international arena.
During the conversation, the parties discussed strengthening bilateral relations, emphasizing the importance of cooperation in international organizations such as the UN. Issues of expanding trade and economic ties and cooperation in the energy and transport and communications sectors were also touched upon. Particular attention was paid to cultural and humanitarian ties, which contribute to strengthening the friendship between the peoples of Turkmenistan and Saudi Arabia.
