The Mejlis of Turkmenistan adopted the budget for 2025 and a number of important bills

At the seventh session of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan of the seventh convocation, the state budget for 2025 was unanimously adopted, and numerous legislative initiatives were approved. The deputies reviewed and approved key documents aimed at the further socio-economic development of the state. This was reported by the website of the Turkmen parliament.
Among the adopted documents are bills on the ratification of the Agreement between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on mutual promotion and protection of investments, the Agreement between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of Mongolia on international road transport, the Convention on Transit Trade of Landlocked States, the Multilateral Agreement on the Establishment of an International Analysis Center for Landlocked Developing Countries, amendments and additions to the Code of Administrative Offenses of Turkmenistan, amendments and additions to some legislative acts of Turkmenistan, amendments and additions to the Law of Turkmenistan on Currency Regulation and Currency Control in Foreign Economic Relations, amendments and additions to some legislative acts of Turkmenistan, amendments to the Labor Code of Turkmenistan, amendments and additions to the Law of Turkmenistan on Diplomatic Service, amendments to the Law of Turkmenistan on the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkmenistan, and amendments and additions to the Law of Turkmenistan on International Treaties of Turkmenistan.
According to the deputies, the adopted budget will contribute to the progressive development of the country's economic power and the improvement of the population's living standards. All bills are aimed at implementing the priorities of the state policy of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and comprehensive programs for the modernization of Turkmenistan's legislation.
