The President of Turkmenistan received members of the United Arab Emirates delegation

On November 25, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Suhail Al Mazrouei, the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the UAE, and Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, the Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and CEO of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company. Expressing sincere gratitude to the head of state for the opportunity to meet, the guests conveyed warm greetings and best wishes for the prosperity of Turkmenistan from UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. It was noted that the UAE places great importance on expanding bilateral relations based on mutual benefit and friendship. Thanking them for their kind words and conveying warm greetings and best wishes to the leader of the brotherly country, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that Turkmenistan pays special attention to further developing and strengthening multifaceted cooperation. It was also noted that at the current stage, Turkmen-Emirati partnership encompasses areas such as the political-diplomatic sphere, trade-economic ties, the fuel-energy complex, the transport-communication sector, and the construction of social facilities. During the meeting, it was noted that the positions of the two countries coincide in positively resolving issues of maintaining peace and security and ensuring sustainable development. This serves as a strong foundation for cooperation within reputable international structures, primarily the United Nations. Special emphasis was placed on the fact that the UAE is one of Turkmenistan's important trade and economic partners, as evidenced by the annual growth of bilateral trade. It was further noted that the fuel-energy potential and advantageous geographical location of the two countries create broad opportunities for the effective development of Turkmen-Emirati cooperation. Noting that several projects have been implemented in our country with the participation of leading companies, including financial and investment structures from the UAE, the head of state confirmed Turkmenistan's readiness to intensify cooperation with the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). At the end of the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished Suhail Al Mazrouei and Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber good health, well-being, and success in their responsible work.
