A new commercial gas inflow has been obtained at the Galkynysh field

Significant success has been achieved in natural gas production at the Galkynysh field. A new commercial gas inflow has been obtained from several productive horizons at production well No. 265, reports TDH. As a result of successful drilling at a depth of 4485 meters, promising layers were discovered at levels of 4417-4281 and 4266-4226 meters. The daily output of the well is 2 million cubic meters of gas, with a tendency to increase, demonstrating the effectiveness of modern field development methods in the country. Special attention is given to the use of advanced drilling technologies, which require highly qualified specialists. The supergiant Galkynysh field, with its unique technical characteristics, continues to be a reliable source of natural gas. Turkmenistan, which has the fourth-largest gas reserves in the world, is actively developing numerous fields, including offshore ones in the Caspian Sea.
