Serdar Berdimuhamedov announced an international competition in honor of the Turkmen Alabay Day

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree to hold the International Competition "Ýylyň türkmen edermen alabaýy" in Ashgabat on October 27, 2024, reports TDH. As part of the celebration, there will also be competitions among carpet weavers, artists, sculptors, photographers, publishers, and TV operators. These competitions will focus on the artistic depiction of the Turkmen Alabay in visual and decorative arts, publishing products, photographs, and television. The President also approved the jury composition for evaluating the participants' works, the source notes. The document was signed to further enhance the global fame of the Turkmen Alabay, which is a national treasure and pride of the Turkmen people.
