The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, made a working trip to the city of Arkadag, where he reviewed the building projects planned as part of the second phase of the city's development. During the visit, he received information about their decorative features and held a working meeting with the relevant leaders, reports TDH.
During the trip, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov reviewed the projects of modern buildings that will be constructed as part of the second phase of the city's development. The Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the City of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan, Derya Orazov, reported on the pace of construction of various buildings, including an artistic carpet weaving enterprise, the features of the exterior decoration of the main building of the complex, and the equipment of other social facilities.
Special attention was paid to the project of the artistic carpet weaving enterprise, which will become an important element of the architectural appearance of the new city. At the request of the residents of Arkadag, a decision was made at the state level to build this enterprise, which will create new jobs and make a significant contribution to the development of the art of carpet weaving in Turkmenistan. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of using modern digital technologies and innovative lighting solutions in the exterior decoration of the enterprise.
The National Leader also noted that the exterior decoration of the carpet enterprise should reflect elements of the spiritual and cultural heritage of the Turkmen people, such as images of the dagdan tree and the "goçak" pattern. He instructed to carefully study these issues and make the necessary adjustments.
During the visit, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov reviewed the project of a new park and road infrastructure facilities in the city of Arkadag. He made comments and adjustments, emphasizing the importance of convenience and comfort for the city's residents. Special attention was paid to the landscaping of areas adjacent to the ring roads and their lighting features.
At the working meeting, held with the participation of the Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the City of Arkadag, D. Orazov, and the head of the city administration, G. Mammedova, issues of preparation for the VI Vienna Ball, which will be held in Arkadag, were discussed. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that holding such events confirms the city's status as a center for international forums.
Information was also presented about the nomination "Ahal-Teke Horse Breeding Art and Traditions of Decorating Horses," included in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. In the coming days, the city of Arkadag will be awarded the corresponding certificate, highlighting the international recognition of Turkmenistan's efforts to preserve and develop this art.
At the end of the working meeting, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wished the participants success in solving the tasks set and departed from the event.
