Russian President congratulates Turkmenistan on Independence Day

President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin has sent a congratulatory letter to President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the occasion of the national holiday – Independence Day of Turkmenistan. In his message, Putin noted the successful economic and social development of Turkmenistan, as well as its high authority in the international arena, TDH reports. The Russian President stressed the dynamic development of Russian-Turkmen relations in the spirit of in-depth strategic partnership, active political dialogue and fruitful cooperation between Moscow and Ashgabat. Vladimir Putin expressed confidence in further strengthening constructive cooperation between the two countries for the benefit of their peoples and in the interests of stability and security in Central Asia and the Caspian region. At the end of his letter, Putin wished Serdar Berdimuhamedov good health and success, and happiness and prosperity to all citizens of Turkmenistan.
