On September 24, a regular meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan will be held at the Maslahat Köşgi Palace. Delegates from all regions of the country have already arrived in Ashgabat to address issues of state importance and contribute to the implementation of Presidential programs aimed at the prosperity of the country and improving the quality of life of the people," reports the newspaper "Neutral Turkmenistan."
The capital welcomed the delegates in a festive setting, showcasing the best traditions of Turkmen hospitality. Delegations from the Balkan, Lebap, and Mary velayats arrived by special trains, while delegates from the Dashoguz velayat arrived by special flight. Upon arrival, they were greeted by musical ensembles, and girls in national costumes offered traditional treats. Honored elders and gray-haired women, who were the first to disembark, happily shared their impressions with reporters.
Participants of the Halk Maslahaty expressed their gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for preserving and developing the traditions of people's democracy. They noted that the meeting of the Halk Maslahaty is a great celebration for the entire nation, symbolizing the triumph of people's democracy, and it is especially significant that it takes place on the eve of Turkmenistan's Independence Day.
Comfortable living conditions, three meals a day, and a cultural program, including visits to theaters and city tours, were organized for the delegates. The Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, as the highest representative body, continues to involve representatives of the people in addressing issues of state importance, contributing to the strengthening of unity and cohesion in society.
