Turkmenistan entered the top 10 countries with the lowest gasoline prices


Turkmenistan has become one of the ten countries in the world with the lowest gasoline prices. According to GlobalPetrolPrices, as of December 5, Turkmenistan ranks seventh in terms of the availability of gasoline with an octane rating of 95. The price of a liter of gasoline in the country is 0,433 USD.

In the current situation, Turkmenistan is the country with the cheapest gasoline in the CIS.

The average price of gasoline around the world is 1,30 USD per liter, the cheapest gasoline in the world in Venezuela is 0,016 USD per liter. The top three also included Libya and Iran - 0,031 USD and 0,053 USD respectively.

The most expensive gasoline in Hong Kong (Special Administrative Region of China). There, a liter of gasoline costs 2,969 USD. In the Central African Republic, a liter of gasoline costs 2,405 USD, in Iceland - 2,252 USD.

Let us remind that in 2019, a giant plant for the production of gasoline from natural gas was opened in Turkmenistan. One of the company's advantages is the ability to produce ECO-93 synthetic gasoline, which meets the Euro-5 standard.

Turkmenistan sells its oil products through the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange to the countries of Europe and Central Asia, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific region.
